Our Work
Identify community needs in Greater Capital Area by hearing from community members and organizations
Increase awareness of programs and support community events that offer access to foods and nutrition for all ages
Support schools to feed more kids in the school system
Strengthen partnerships and collaborate on issues that fall through the cracks
Reduce barriers to food and nutrition services
Reduce poverty in our community
Engage stakeholders and leaders in the community in opportunities to make change
The group is made up of: non-profits, schools, faith- based organizations, community service organizations, businesses, community leaders and concerned citizens.
Through Collective Impact we will build a sustainable, holistic and healthy approach to food security for all of our citizens.
