Laura Milliken

Executive Director

Laura Milliken leads NH Hunger Solutions’ team in working to end hunger in New Hampshire through advocacy, education, technical assistance, coalition building and policy change. During her time at NHHS she has been instrumental in advocacy to increase participation in federal nutrition programs like SNAP, WIC, and school meals and in seeking other systemic solutions to hunger.

Before coming to NHHS in 2020, Laura was the Director of Spark NH, the state’s early childhood advisory council for 9 years. Laura is an attorney who has spent her career advocating for social justice. Laura received her BA from Barnard College and her JD from Boston University.

Laura enjoys hiking, reading and traveling — especially to visit her adult sons in New York and Colorado.  She lives in Concord with her husband.
